How do I book a mentorship session with John Adib?
Register on ADPList and pick a slot on my profile at adplist.org/mentors/john-adib. Sessions are 1:1 video calls.
Is mentorship free?
I keep a limited number of free slots open on ADPList, first come, first served. Mentoring is how I give back, and broader or ongoing mentoring is something we can discuss directly.
What topics can we cover?
Software engineering and career growth, resume and LinkedIn reviews, interview preparation, engineering leadership, AI-first development, and tech immigration, including UK Global Talent applications.
Can you review my UK Global Talent application?
Yes. I went through the Tech Nation exceptional-talent route myself in 2024, and I regularly review evidence lists and personal statements in sessions.
I'm not sure I'm senior enough to book. Should I?
Book anyway. Many of my favourite sessions are with early-career engineers. Bring a real problem and we'll work on it together.
